1. Introduction
Welcome to Vessra — The Elite Self-Transformation System. We built Vessra to help you build habits, deepen self-awareness, and grow with the support of an AI coach — all with your privacy as a first principle.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Vessra collects, how it is used, and how it is protected. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.
The short version: Almost all of your data stays on your device. The only information that ever leaves is the text you choose to send to the AI Coach, which is forwarded to Anthropic to generate a response. We do not sell your data. We have no user accounts, no analytics SDKs, and no advertising.
2. Information We Collect
The following is stored locally on your device only and never leaves it:
- Your name — entered during onboarding. Used to personalize the AI Coach, notifications, and in-app content.
- Habit tracking data — your habits, completion records, streaks, and identity evidence entries.
- Life Scan answers and Clarity Scores — your self-assessment responses and resulting clarity scores.
- Elite Quiz answers — your onboarding quiz responses used to personalize AI coaching.
- Weekly Review snapshots — weekly summaries and Identity Arc progress data.
- AI Coach conversation history — stored locally on your device. Individual messages are sent to the AI provider when you send them (see Section 4).
- Notification preferences — your chosen notification times and settings.
- App open timestamps — recorded locally to support personalized notification timing.
- Subscription status — managed entirely by Apple StoreKit 2. Vessra does not receive or store your payment information.
- Home screen widget data — your name, streak, and clarity score written to a shared App Group container on your device. This data does not leave your device.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use data solely to operate and improve your app experience:
- To personalize the AI Coach with your name, goals, streak, clarity score, and quiz answers
- To track and display your habit streaks, completion rates, and growth over time
- To generate your Clarity Score from Life Scan responses
- To send personalized local push notifications
- To display your progress in the home screen widget
- To manage your subscription status through Apple StoreKit 2
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
When you send a message in the AI Coach, that message — along with brief context (your name, streak, goal, and clarity score) — is transmitted to Anthropic, PBC via our secure proxy server to generate a response. Anthropic may retain messages per their own privacy policy: anthropic.com/privacy.
AI Coach messages are routed through a lightweight proxy on Vercel. It does not log, store, or retain your messages. vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple. Vessra never sees or stores your payment details. apple.com/legal/privacy.
Vessra schedules and delivers local notifications entirely on your device. No notification content is transmitted to any server.
The Vessra widget reads your name, streak, and clarity score from a shared on-device App Group container. No widget data is transmitted off your device.
The AI Coach includes optional voice input. Audio is transcribed to text on-device using Apple's Speech framework. Audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted — only the resulting text transcript is used. Microphone access can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.
Vessra does not use HealthKit, advertising networks, analytics SDKs, crash reporting services, or social media SDKs.
5. Data Storage & Security
All user data is stored locally on your device. There is no Vessra server, no backend database, and no cloud sync. Messages sent to the AI Coach are transmitted over HTTPS. We do not log or retain these messages on our infrastructure.
Data deletion: Delete all Vessra data at any time by deleting the app from your device. There is no account to deactivate and no server-side data to request deletion of.
6. Your Rights
- Access: All your data is accessible through the app's interface.
- Correction: You can edit your name and profile directly in the app.
- Deletion: Deleting Vessra permanently removes all locally stored data.
- Portability: Your data lives on your device — you are always in possession of it.
- Revoke permissions: Revoke microphone or notification permissions via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security.

7. Children's Privacy

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of Vessra after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
